With nearly 1,000,000 square feet of space, the DCT Jurupa Logistics Center in Fontana, CA is a big project. This build-to-suit cross-dock distribution facility was built for massive warehouse storage, including tenants Black & Decker. MBW was brought in to add our expertise to a few areas of the massive structure including a new office space. We worked on two main aspects at this facility: joint sealant and waterproofing. For joint sealant, we focused on non-rated concrete panel expansion joints, drain pipe penetrations and scuppers, and worked on dock aprons for walls, stairs, and ramps. On the waterproofing side, we did below grade waterproofing at the retaining wall and entry planters.
