MBW wins 2016 Polished Concrete Award for Petersen Automotive Museum
Each year, Concrete Construction Magazine puts together their list for the best concrete polishing projects of the year. From industrial and educational facilities to retail and residential buildings, the most impressive projects of 2016 were up for voters to choose the best of the best. While MBW was proud just to be considered for the awards, we were even more honored to be selected as the winner in the Commercial category for our at work at the Petersen Automotive Museum!
You can read all about the work we did at PAM in our work section and on Concrete Construction’s website, but we wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped make this project come together, from the construction and design teams to the crew that worked long hours to get this Los Angeles landmark up and running ahead of schedule. Polishing 100,000 square feet of concrete is no small task but the museum and their vehicles deserved the best we could give and we’re so proud to see it come together and be recognized.
Be on the lookout for the January issue of Concrete Construction’s magazine to see more from the PAM and congratulations to all of the other companies who took home awards in the other categories – we’re thrilled to be in such excellent company! We can’t wait to show you what we have in store for 2017!
