A Night of Hope
In celebration of the book launch, Not My Business – How I gave My Company to God and What Happened Next by Mark Beamish, founder of Mark Beamish Waterproofing, MBW hosted A Night of Hope at the MBW corporate offices in Irvine. During the celebration, we enjoyed music by Ryan Heflin and reminisced on the history and incredible journey of Mark Beamish and MBW. We were honored to be surrounded by our family, friends, employees, and customers who have each contributed to make MBW what it is today. As many of you know, the MBW in our name stands for Mark Beamish Waterproofing, however, in the past few years, we’ve adopted a second acronym – Making a Better World. A Night of Hope was a true example of this calling. Through the generosity of those who purchased books and donated at A Night of Hope, we raised $6,677 for Boys HopeGirls Hope, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the needs of underprivileged kids in Orange County. With these funds Boys Hope Girls Hope will provide housing, basic needs (food, clothing, etc.), transportation, extra-curricular activities, professional child care, and college scholarships for children considered homeless by the California Department of Education. When MBW started in 1981, we couldn’t have dreamed of where we’d be today. We are so grateful for everyone who attended A Night of Hope and joined us in making a better world.
